“We have been using Global Medical Agency to find specialist doctors for the Emergency Department since September 2000. Over this time we have employed seven different American doctors for terms of 6 months or 12 months. The arrangement has been extremely beneficial for all parties. We have recruited some excellent emergency doctors. The work ethic and commitment has been universally outstanding. All the doctors have been great. All have participated in our night shift roster.

The doctors have generally had a wonderful time and two have come back to Bendigo for a second term. One even found a wife in Bendigo! All doctors have rapidly adapted from the American to the Australian system .
